From February 26th to March 29th, TapuSilk is honored to accompany Interconnection in organizing the exhibition "Ancient Silk – Today's Soul" – an emotional journey to spread the beauty of Nam Cao mulberry silk, a precious traditional material, bringing it closer to fashion lovers, those who appreciate simplicity, and those who cherish Vietnamese culture
Master Artisan Nguyễn Đình Đại shares about the journey of preserving and developing the craft through 4 generations.
With the message: "Traditional Material – Modern Application – Elegant & Unique Style," the exhibition was not only a display of simple yet soulful mulberry silk fabrics but also a meeting point between the memories of the past and the breath of today.
Throughout this journey, we silently watched the focused gazes by the spinning wheel, the moments of awe before the artisan's hands as they pulled silk from the silkworm cocoon, and the delicate touches that lovingly caressed each thread of fabric. In that moment, we realized: the dream of preserving and spreading mulberry silk was no longer just TapuSilk's, but had become a shared emotional current – deep, warm, and full of pride.
